Video Chat is free and accessible to member with a webcam, where ever they are. No need to download extra software or register with any 3rd party.
How to use
1st log in as normal, underneath your avatar you'll see the video chat box (circled in red)
Click on the avatar/photo of the person you wish to chat with
A text box will Pop up, you can use this for text chat - it's usually polite to just check that the person is happy to do video chat, you can send a text message by pressing the "send message".
When you're sure the other person is willing to video chat, press the "Request to Video Chat" and the following video Box will pop up
The box will change while waiting for the other person to accept your request. This can take a while even if you're sitting in the same building.
When your request is accepted you'll get the little grey box asking for access to you're camera and microphone, click allow.
you'll be able to see yourself in the top right hand box - if not there maybe a problem with your webcam, now again I'm afraid it's a slight waiting game.
when both camera are working it should look like this, and you're ready to go.
