Climbing Mousa Broch on Mousa, Shetland. This is a 2000-year-old tower whose original purpose is unknown. The broch ("brockh") has concentric cylindrical stone walls with a steep staircase between them. It is in remarkably good condition and you can climb to the top. You get to Mousa by boat from Sandwick.
